  • Nouméa is basically European food cravings with island weather.
Croissants in the morning, espresso breaks, pizza + pasta for lunch, truffle oil on anything that allows it, and gelato “for the walk” (every day). Then dinner is the real flex: fresh seafood, prawns, and lobster — with warm air, palm trees, and lagoon views that don’t feel real. And yes, it works with a little one too. You just keep the plans loose, add snack stops, and swap late nights for early mornings 😅
But the vibe still hits: slow walks, beach air, and sunsets that feel like a proper reset.#food #french #island #babytravel #travel
  • We didn’t stop travelling… we just upgraded our travel mode.
2025 was our biggest season yet. 🌍👶Jan: Queenstown with a 7-month bump 🏔️
Then a 9-month-pregnant road trip to Narooma / Camel Rock
Then came delivery — the journey that changed everything 🤍And the adventures continued with our tiny traveller:
4 months: first flight to Fiji (Nadi) 🇫🇯+ Port Vila 🇻🇺
6 months: India (Ooty) 🇮🇳
7 months: Hong Kong 🇭🇰
9 months: Nouméa 🇳🇨Same wanderlust. New teammate. ❤️
  • One of those “I can’t believe this is real life” dives: Beqa Lagoon’s famous shark dive. You drop into the blue, settle on the sand, and then the ocean turns into a live documentary—sharks cruising in like silent submarines while the reef around you stays insanely colourful. No cage, just a controlled, guide-led experience in the Shark Reef Marine Reserve, and the adrenaline is very real (in the best way). 🦈🌊
If you’re a diver and you ever wanted a proper “core memory” underwater—Pacific Harbour / Beqa Lagoon is the one.Shoutout to @thefijisharkdive 🙌 The whole experience felt so well-run—from the safety briefing and shark education to the calm “vibe check” before we even hit the water. Gear was dialled, the setup was smooth, and you could tell the team had this down to a system. Honestly, it made it easy to just relax, trust the process, and enjoy every second of it. 🦈🤿#fiji #shark #scuba #island #paditv
  • Egypt hits different when you realise your childhood movie scenes were basically travel goals in disguise. 🇪🇬✨ We went to Giza, stood in front of the pyramids, and only after rewatching K3G / Sooraj Hua Maddham it clicked—wait… we were literally at that spot. K3G kids… adult us at the same place 🤯 (too late to recreate the exact shot, but the goosebumps were real). It’s wild how places you only “visited” through songs end up becoming real memories—especially now, with our little one watching us chase those old dreams.Travel tip for next time: before you go anywhere, quickly look up movies/songs shot there—you’ll catch the best angles and moments you’d otherwise miss.If you want a relaxed, kid-friendly Egypt itinerary / tips, follow along (or DM me) and I’ll share what we’d do again + what we’d do differently. 🐪📍#egypt #giza #bollywood #travel #familytime
  • Hong Kong is a super kid-friendly city break – whether as a stopover on the way to India from Australia, or a trip all by itself. ✈️🌏Public transport does most of the heavy lifting:
•	Trams (“ding ding”) for fun city rides 🚋
•	MTR for fast, easy connections with prams 🚇
•	Ferries and Victoria Harbour for classic skyline viewsEasy kid-approved stops:
•	Hong Kong Disneyland – rides, parades and a full day of magic 🏰
•	Big Buddha & Ngong Ping cable car – upgrade to the glass-bottom cabin for better views and usually shorter queues 🚠
•	Star Ferry / Harbourfront for evening lights and photos
•	Markets like Ladies Market for souvenirs and street snacks
•	City temples & a Buddha temple with bonsai-style gardens for a calm break from all the neonIf you’re planning flights between Australia and India (or just want a short, exciting family city break), Hong Kong is an easy win with kids: compact, connected and full of “wow” moments. Save this for your next trip. 🌃🧳#familytravels #travelwithkids #vacation #asia #city
  • Shot in March 2024 in Wadi Rum, Jordan’s otherworldly “Valley of the Moon” desert and a UNESCO World Heritage site.On the same trip we explored Petra – the famous rock-cut “Rose City”, also a UNESCO site and one of the New 7 Wonders of the World.March 2024 in Jordan was a dream:
•	dancing in the red sands of Wadi Rum
•	wandering the canyons of Petra
•	floating in the Dead Sea
•	city views from Amman & the Roman Temple of Hercules at the Citadel
•	day-tripping through the ancient Roman streets of Jerash
•	a quiet pause at Bethany Beyond the Jordan (Jesus’ baptism site).Same song, same steps – but the original soundtrack will always be Jordan. If you’re dreaming of deserts, ancient cities and starry skies, Jordan needs to be on your list. 🇯🇴✨

  • Didn’t manage to book the famous 4 hr Ooty toy train?
Same here – it was fully booked and you usually need to plan months in advance. 😅So we did the shorter, smarter version instead… and it was perfect. 🚂💚👉 We drove to Coonoor, parked there and took the 12:35 PM toy train to Udagamandalam (Ooty).
⏱️ The ride is about 1 hr 10 mins – same hills, tea estates, tunnels and toy-train vibes, without committing half a day.In Udagamandalam, we kept it simple:
– Had a relaxed lunch near the station 🥘
– Took a rickshaw (₹150) to the famous Rose Garden 🌹
– Wandered around, soaked in the views and then headed back
We were back at Udagamandalam station by 5 PM for our return train.Don’t miss the cute “I ❤️ OOTY” photo spot inside Udagamandalam station – perfect for that one mandatory tourist shot. 📸We then took the 5:30 PM return train to Coonoor, which gave us:
– A relaxed morning drive to Coonoor
– Toy train ride + lunch + Rose Garden at the top
– A chilled ride back down before it got too late🎟️ Tickets & classes
We tried both First Class and Second Class, and honestly…the experience + views were great in both.
If you don’t get First Class, don’t stress – Second Class was just as fun.💡 Why this route is a hack:
– The full 4 hr Mettupalayam–Ooty route often books out and can need booking ~3 months ahead.
– The short Coonoor–Ooty stretch usually has better chances, and day-trippers can often make it work with a bit of timing.
– Perfect if you’re short on time, travelling with kids, or just don’t want your whole day locked into one train. If you’re planning an Ooty trip, consider this:
Coonoor → Udagamandalam (12:35 PM)
Udagamandalam → Coonoor (5:30 PM)
Toy train, rose garden, and a cute station photo spot – all in one easy day. 🚂🌹Save this for later + tag someone you’d take on the toy train! 💛#ooty #coonoor #toytrain #nilgirimountainrailway #incredibleindia #familytravel #trainjourney #travelwithkids #southindia
  • Today marks 19 (8+11) years of us—and this year, we’re celebrating with the biggest update yet.
On our anniversary last year, we hit the “adulthood” of our relationship and thought, “Let’s make life a little more… sleepless.”Our past anniversaries were about traveling, trying exotic food, and relaxing.
This one? We’re celebrating at home—still recovering from our recent adventure in the labour room (zero stars, would not recommend the food).Last week, Vinu delivered a baby boy, and we’ve named him Rvik Vineesha Ranjeeth (pronounced R-vik, like the letter R followed by vik — /ˈɑːrvɪk/).Life has officially gone from a duo to a trio—equal parts excitement, panic, and diaper math. But we’re diving into this parenting thing like every other brave (and slightly clueless) soul before us.Mom, RV, and Dad are all doing great—one crying more than the others (we won’t say who). Here’s to love, chaos, baby giggles, and an anniversary we’ll never forget—for more reasons than one.
